Greetings!
I may have been idle for a while, but for good reason.
Following a very busy IMC Leeds earlier this month, I am happy to announce that I will be organising two special sessions in the International Congress on Medieval Studies in Kalamazoo next spring. The topic is Humour in the Middle Ages, of course, and the sessions will hopefully bring together people working in different disciplines and approaching humour from different angles. I will also tell some stories from the Cent Nouvelles Nouvelles for the most informed audience I will ever have.
To complement this, I am putting together more sessions on next year’s IMC in Leeds, because the theme, ‘Borders’, is particularly relevant to humour. If you are working on humour and would like to co-organise the sessions, roundtable, discussions, or simply to submit a paper, please get in touch!
The intellectual outcomes of all sessions will be published, contextually, in the series “History and Art” by Trivent Publishing.
